The Real World Season 24: 'Back to New Orleans'

The Real World: Back to New Orleans is the upcoming twenty-fourth season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras document their lives and interpersonal relationships.

This will be the second season of the program located in New Orleans, after the ninth season, which aired in 2000. Production began on December 2, 2009, and lasted until May 12, 2010. The season will premiere on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

The cast will be living at a house at 1633 Dufossat Street, in Uptown New Orleans. According to Sotheby's website, the 9,860 square foot house, which is currently on the market for $1.7 million USD, features 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a landscaped front garden, a pool, historic mantels, and an additional apartment equipped with a full kitchen that can be used for as an entertainment room or separate quarters for guests or live-in staff. The house, which is located 1.7 miles from the Belfort Mansion used as the season residence for the ninth season, is currently owned by Baron Davis of the Los Angeles Clippers, and was featured on an episode of MTV Cribs.

Demi Lovato Takes a Dig at Joe Through Lyrics Change!

Nick Jonas 'Les Miserables' Role

Pop heart-throb Nick Jonas arrives in London soon to prepare for his West End theatre debut, playing the role of Marius in Les Miserables.

I can reveal that Nick, 17, will perform the part of student Marius at the Queen's Theatre for a three week run from June 21.

It's not the first time the singer has been associated with the blockbuster musical, which is now in its 25th year. He played the part of Gavroche in the last nine months of Les Miserable's run on Broadway in 2003.

Cameron Mackintosh told me yesterday: 'I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius. We've been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star.

'He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London.'

The singer broke off from a concert tour with his brothers Joe and Kevin to conclude the deal with Mackintosh. 'He has bent over backwards to fit it all into his schedule,' Mackintosh said of the youngest Jonas brother.

Nick has been rehearsing the music in the U.S. but will begin three weeks of full rehearsals with other new special cast members in London in the next few days before giving his first performance at the Queen's.

In October, Nick will be part of a huge, star- studded company being assembled to perform a 25th anniversary concert at the o2 Centre in Greenwich, South-East London.

Details of casting - and ticket information about the o2 production - will be announced Wednesday morning.

Nick and his brothers have become mammoth music stars. Their albums sell in the millions, and they're the favourite band of president obama's two young daughters.

No doubt Nick's siblings will visit him on Shaftesbury Avenue and see him on stage.

Meanwhile, a revised version of Les Miserables has been playing to sell- out audiences across Britain. That production is now in Paris for a six-week run before resuming its UK tour, which will include a run at London's Barbican from September 14.

Mackintosh told me there will be Les Mis productions next year and the year after in Madrid, Mexico, Korea, Italy, Japan and the U.S..

And a screenwriter is about to be contracted to work on a big-screen version which Mackintosh is producing with Working Title Films.

Aaron Carter chatted with OK! about his ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan's legal trouble:

'It hurts me to see that. I hope she can really learn something from this. They are going to make an example of you now, Lindsay, and you deserve it. You don’t get in the car with two people and go chasing after your assistant going a hundred miles an hour down PCH. I don’t know what to say about it anymore.

I’m pissed! If I had a chance to talk to her, she would probably end up trying to attack me or something, because the things that I would have to say would be very blunt and not what everybody else has told her. I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to her because she knows that if I did, I’m the only one who would be real because her to everybody else [is], ‘Oh, Lindsay! You’re a star!' Not me. I’ve been doing it my whole life, sweetheart. I don’t need you.

There were times when you needed me, so don’t forget that. I dated her when I was 12, 13 years old. [Lindsay now is] not the Lindsay I know. I see somebody who is washed out, puffy. That’s not who I know. She used to stand outside the gates of my concerts to get in and I would let her in when we were dating, when the only thing she did was Parent Trap. 30,000 girls outside my concerts and she was in the front, waiting to get in. When I knew her at that point, she was fine.

But when she set foot in LA was when everything came crashing down. I don’t live in LA I live in Miami. And look, I’ve got color in my face. I’m healthy! I’m sober. You know what my first thing would be? I would go get her dad. Michael Lohan is a very good man. He was thrown under the bus very bad by that family. It takes a man to keep a family strong sometimes. I would go and find her dad. I wouldn’t even care about finding her mother.

Finally someone with some sense and coming from someone who has had his fair share of trouble and to get his act together. Too bad Lindsay won't see this and take heed to Aarons message.

'Shrek Forever After' Tops Weekend Box Office

Despite a first-place finish worth $71.3 million, the box-office performance for "Shrek Forever After" was nowhere near as successful as many had initially expected. "Forever After" was unable to come close to the massive $121.6 million earned by "Shrek the Third" in its opening weekend in 2007, or even the $108 million debut for "Shrek 2" in 2004. Considering the "Shrek" franchise's name recognition, all-star talent and increased prices for 3-D ticket sales, it's rather surprising that the DreamWorks film couldn't make a bigger push towards resolving its $165 million budget. Indeed, "Forever After" could wind up being "The Final Chapter" after all.

Although "Shrek" certainly performed below expectations, it didn't fall nearly as hard as Universal's "MacGruber," based on the "Saturday Night Live" sketch of the same name. Even with a solid cast including Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe and Val Kilmer, "MacGruber" collected a mere $4.1 million this weekend for a sixth-place finish.

Tyrese Gibson Saddened By Megan Fox's Departure

"Transformers" co-star Tyrese Gibson said he was disappointed when he heard the news of Fox's departure.

"I was sad about it, man. Genuinely, We built something here. We all did. We all put our own sauce and stamp and energy on this franchise."

As much as he was bummed to hear the news, Gibson isn't prying into the backstory before he heads to the "Transformers 3" set this Thursday. "I don't know exactly what went down," he said. "But it's crazy to see the band get broken up, you know what I mean?"

"Michael and Megan get along great. Like in any creative endeavor, there's not always total agreement," he said at the time. "But I think [reports of their issues with one another are] much ado about nothing. I even read that we were thinking about not casting her. Come on! It's so silly. As though we would want to mess with such a successful combination."

They are currently working on their sophomore studio album titled "Rebuilt". The first single, titled Over You, was released on January 5, 2010. The second single, titled Maniac will be released as the first worldwide single.

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas have called it quits and rumors are already spreading about that Demi moving on to a new man. Wilmer Valderrama, to be exact!

Demi has denied the rumor via twitter/twitlonger and claims to be single. But a source that old E! News that "She complained about Joe to him a lot," and "Now they're talking and dating."

Jonas Brothers Going Solo After Tour

During a telephone news conference on Wednesday, Lehigh Valley Music reports that Joe and Kevin Jonas hope to be working on solo albums after World Tour!

 Joe has been collecting material for a solo album with no plans for its immediate release. 'I’ve been working on a lot of music personally. It’s been a lot of fun for me to be able to do that. ..I’m not sure exactly when my music project will come out; I think when the time is appropriate. But hopefully the fans will receive it and like it.'

Nick Jonas & Administration will do another album, but in the next couple of years. 'I’m continuing to write things for Jonas Brothers, The Administration and other artists and there are always songs around. Kevin, 'I absolutely would love to do something musically, as well. But it’s just been an amazing year, we have a lot coming up.'

Nick has commented about touring without a new album. 'We they decided to tour without a new record, we knew we had a lot of material coming out in different areas, different movie and TV projects that we had coming out that there was music involved in. And I think we just felt that after releasing four albums in about 3 1/2 years that it might be a bit of an overload.'

Kevin is also joining on the solo side, 'I absolutely would love to do something musically, as well. But it’s just been an amazing year, we have a lot coming up.'

'For us, our musical journey has just been a progression. We’re not trying to grow up too fast or anything -- and I’m saying that even coming from being married. [Kevin got married last winter] For us, we’re growing up with our audience and growing up with the people listening to our music, as well as the people all around us that are starting to listen to our music as well.'

'For us, we’re just making the music that we love. And of course being an artist, there’s always time to try and reinvent yourself and make what you have fresh. And I think that’s a goal for every artist out there. But at the same time, you want to try to stay true to who you are as people.'

Even with all the solo talk. The Jonas Brothers aren't going anywhere, anytime soon. Maybe a new group album out in 2011?

With Megan Fox Dropped From 'Transformers 3'

Who Should Replace Her?

MTV reports that Megan Fox has been ousted from the cast of "Transformers 3". Insiders telling Deadline "Giving Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky a new love interest makes more sense for the story." Paramount has confirmed the news to GossipCop.

It's not an enviable task given how deeply Megan Fox's character Mikaela Banes was connected to the action movie's human story. Lorenzo di Bonaventura told MTV News just last month that reports of Fox leaving the film were "silly" — but the reality is, LaBeouf needs a new love interest… and MTV has got some ideas for who that could be.

Amanda Seyfried: Fox's "Jennifer's Body" co-star would be an ideal candidate to pick up the torch and roll out with the Autobots. Amanda Seyfried is proving herself a draw with the romantic drama crowd while also taking risks with her career in movies like "Chloe." On top of that, she's set to headline the geek-baiting "The Girl with the Red Riding Hood," indicating her possible interest in a big budget feature like "Transformers."

Anna Kendrick: Casting this "Twilight" actress to play LaBeouf's new love interest is about as far away from Fox as you can possibly get — and that might be a good thing. Putting some extreme measurable difference between the two characters isn't the worst idea in the world. Besides, a quirky gal like Anna Kendrick could bring out a lot of similar comedy from LaBeouf. It certainly doesn't hurt that posters could describe her as an "Oscar-nominated" actress.

Emma Stone: Even if you're not Fox's biggest fan, there's no denying that the actress brought a certain badass quality to the "Transformers" universe — something that worked particularly well considering LaBeouf as a somewhat dopey leading man. Emma Stone, fresh off her ass-kicking performance in "Zombieland," could fulfill that role with ease. She's not only a terrific actress, but viewers could actually buy into her ability to toast some Decepticon tail.

Kirsten Dunst: Coming into "Transformers," Fox had little experience as a leading lady in major blockbuster fare. Perhaps her replacement shouldn't have that same raw quality. If Michael Bay wants a seasoned veteran to handle the currently vacant female lead, he could do much worse than Kirsten Dunst. She's got plenty of practice acting opposite CG effects thanks to her turn as Mary Jane in the "Spider-Man" franchise, and now that she's finished with that series, this could be a good time for her to tap into the "Transformers" universe.

Lacey Chabert: Of course, finding someone with relative obscurity isn't a bad idea, either. That's part of what made Fox so compelling in the first place -- mainstream moviegoers knew very little about her. That's the same case for Lacey Chabert, who had a nice part in "Mean Girls" (and, long ago, "Party of Five") but hasn't been in the spotlight too much lately. She's a beautiful actress with plenty of talent to back up her looks -- a combination that could serve the human side of the "Transformers" franchise quite nicely.

Lindsay Lohan Linked to Femme Photog

Is Lindsay Lohan mixing business with pleasure?

Reports have it that she's gotten particularly close to female photographer Indriani (pictured above with Lindsay) while working with her and Markus Klinko on a superhero-themed shoot for Complex magazine.

Lindsay told Us Weeky "In NO way am I dating her,"

A close friend of the photographer says otherwise. Abe Gurko, an NYC blogger and a friend of Indriani, told E! that Linds and her female photog friend spent the night together and have gone on some dates.

"Some kind of magic dust kicked up on set and they continued to boogie days beyond the photo shoot," Gurko tells E!

Indriani's rep, on the other hand, are playing the coy card, "They're collaborating on some great projects and spending a lot of time together."

Footage from the Complex shoot will be featured on the photographers' upcoming Bravo show Double Exposure, which premieres June 15.

As for Lindsay? She's due back in the states very soon for her DUI progress hearing Thursday.

Johnny Depp's fourth open-water adventure, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,' will be shot in Disney Digital 3D.

Captain Jack Sparrow might have to learn a new seafaring ditty that goes a little something like, "Yo-ho-ho, a bottle of rum and a pair of your finest 3-D glasses." Yes, Johnny Depp's fourth open-water adventure, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," will be shot in Disney Digital 3-D, the studio has announced.

That brings the total number of 3-D releases in the next two years to, oh, approximately 6,000 (not really, though it certainly feels that way). The noteworthy development for "Pirates," then, is not that it will hit theaters as a 3-D movie but that it will be shot in three-dimensions rather than converted during post-production.

The 3-D conversion process has become one of the more controversial trends in Hollywood. Converted films, like "Alice in Wonderland" or "Clash of the Titans," can have a sort of pop-up picture book effect that is more jarring than it is an effective visual and storytelling addition. That hasn't stopped other big-budget films shot with 2-D cameras from jumping on the 3-D conversion bandwagon and the premium ticket prices that can be sold as a result. Upcoming converted films include "Piranha 3-D," "The Last Airbender," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and "The Green Hornet."

And then there are the movies shot — or soon to shoot — in 3-D, despite some of the inconveniences that come with such productions (such as the heavier, less maneuverable cameras): "Drive Angry," "Tron Legacy" and "The Invention of Hugo Cabret." That "Pirates" has decided to film with 3-D cameras lends credence to the idea that such cameras will become the norm in Hollywood, rather than the contentious conversion process. In light of the "Pirates" move, it will be interesting to see what other blockbuster franchises such as "Spider-Man," "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers" choose to do. Will the minds behind these films decide that a true 3-D experience can only be created via 3-D cameras? Or, at least for now, will conversions continue to a popular creative choice?

"I think the answer is that, as with most movies, you're going to do some kind of combination if you end up doing it," "Transformers" producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told MTV News last month. "I'm sure 3-D cameras are going to get lighter and more manageable and all the things that get in the way right now. Over time, that may change. But I think in the near and medium term, most movies will do a combination when and if they do it."

"I finally said enough with the junk food!"

About a year ago, some tabloids published bikini photographs of Kim that were far from flattering. "Yeah, it bothered me initially, but I told myself that everyone, especially women with curves, has issues just like mine," she says. "But it did motivate me to finally drop those last 10 pounds." Besides stepping up her exercise routine, she made some major changes to her diet, like having a hearty breakfast. She's also eliminated old favorites, like cheese-smothered enchiladas and cheeseburgers with onion rings. "I wouldn't dare eat like that now," she says. "These days I prefer salads with grilled chicken or turkey burgers without the bun."

"I have curves and that's never going to change, so I'd better start embracing them."
As proud as she is of her curves these days, there was a time when Kim was insecure about her body. "I was only 10 when I started developing breasts," she recalls. "I remember crying in the bathtub. I took a washcloth, made it really hot, put it over my chest, and prayed, ‘Please don't let them grow any bigger! They're embarrassing me!'"

With the help of her mom, Kris Jenner (whom Kim calls her role model), and her stepdad, Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, she learned to become more comfortable with her figure. Still, she had to deal with the fact that she didn't look like everyone else in her high school. "All my friends were super skinny, and that just wasn't my body type. But I watched my mom, who was always comfortable with herself, and she helped me with my outlook."

Shia LaBeouf chatted with the LA Times about his failure film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," explaining that this upped the ante for him before he began shooting the "Wall Street" sequel.

"I feel like I dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished, If I was going to do it twice, my career was over. So this was fight-or-flight for me."

Shia's strong, confessional words about his acting in the film, which he said he felt didn't convince anyone that he was the action hero the movie claimed him to be. "You get to monkey-swinging and things like that and you can blame it on the writer and you can blame it on Steven [Spielberg, who directed]. But the actor's job is to make it come alive and make it work, and I couldn't do it. So that's my fault. Simple."

"I think the audience is pretty intelligent. I think they know when you’ve made (a bad film).. And I think if you don’t acknowledge it, then why do they trust you the next time you’re promoting a movie.. [Harrison Ford & I] had major discussions. He wasn’t happy with it either. Look, the movie could have been updated. There was a reason it wasn’t universally accepted." He'll get in trouble for saying this:

"I’ll probably get a call. But he needs to hear this. I love him. I love Steven. I have a relationship with Steven that supersedes our business work. And believe me, I talk to him often enough to know that I’m not out of line. And I would never disrespect the man. I think he’s a genius, and he’s given me my whole life. He’s done so much great work that there’s no need for him to feel vulnerable about one film. But when you drop the ball you drop the ball."

He's also relentlessly intense and unfailingly earnest, taking every question hyper-seriously. When asked whether shooting "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" gave him some insight on what was wrong with our financial system, he said this, with exactly no interruptions:

"You can make the marketplace more transparent. If people had known who was paying for the mortgages instead of having to rely on Moody's triple-A (bull) rating -- transparency would have helped. The triple A rating thing is ridiculous. That's like Oliver [Stone] paying you for a review. The people who were bundling this toxic crap were paying Moody's for the review of their crap. That's ridiculous. You can't have bank holding companies acting as hedge funds. You can't have them taking a million-dollar pension plan for Joe Schmo the bus driver and treat it with the same risk appetite that you treat George Soros' pocket money. It's fundamentally ridiculous. And it hasn't gotten better very recently, actually. They went from bundling mortgages that were crap to bundling life insurance policies and betting on people's deaths. And you can't blame it all on the Street.... People's mentality needs to change. If the Greece contagion thing takes off and it goes from Spain to Ireland to Portugal things are going to change drastically for the world. Soup kitchens, it won't be that type of change. You won't get a depression that way. But it'll be very difficult. I think, my generation, it's hard to have hope when you got a $700-trillion derivatives debt to pay and a bubble about to explode and $500 trillion worth of GDP. You took all the money in the world and put it in a pot, you're $200 trillion short. It's scary, man. You know the average person born today owes $8,000? The average person getting out of college owes $75,000 with no job. I mean it's scary. My generation, it's a scary situation."

Justin Bieber to be In 'Valentine's Day' Sequel!

As reported by MTV. Justin Bieber may star in the 'Valentine's Day' sequel 'New Year's Eve'.

With a release date set for "New Year's Eve," the sequel to "Valentine's Day," director Garry Marshall admits he has Bieber fever. The original romantic comedy cast superstar musician Taylor Swift, and Marshall's team is trying to get another pop sensation onboard for the December 9, 2011, flick.

"Already, they're mentioning Justin Bieber," Marshall told MTV News about possible casting. "I have no idea who that is, but I'm sure we'll meet."

Marshall said the film is moving along nicely.

"I have a script," he revealed. "I did a rewrite. We're rewriting it now. ... It's supposed to shoot in New York in September. It's supposed to be a similar cast of a number of stars. It's written like that, but we hope to get all new stars except for Hector Elizondo, who has to be in all my movies. So he's gonna play a guy you'll never recognize."

A bevy of Hollywood heavyweights appeared in the original flick, but Marshall said there is still plenty of star power left in Hollywood for the next installment.

"I had to call on a lot of friendships, but we still have other friends," he said. "I hope Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry. I love the girls. I work well with women. I'm a Scorpio. I'm Italian. I grew up with sisters and I have daughters, so I like women. What can I tell you? And I like making them funny, but we'll see who we get. Nobody is set yet.

"Except I hear they keep mentioning this Justin Bieber," he continued. "Perhaps I'd better see who he is, so when he arrives on set, possibly [we can talk]. So we'll see."

The CW Renewals, Cancellations, and Pick Ups!

The CW has avoided making a Sophie's Choice in its renewals, instead giving pickups to both bubble series "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill."

Netlet has also given a greenlight to two new series: A contemporary take on "Nikita" and the college drama "Hellcats"

News also means that the CW's attempt at reviving "Melrose Place" has been canceled, as expected.

At one point, it appeared that the Dub net was going to have to make a choice between "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" -- and there were pros and cons to both being renewed or canceled.

But in the end, CW execs decided to keep both its best-reviewed new show, "Life Unexpected," and the aging but still popular "Hill."

As for the new series, "Nikita" stars Maggie Q as a kick-ass spy and assassin. Warner Bros. TV and McG's Wonderland Sound and Vision are behind the show; Craig Silverstein, Danny Cannon (who directed the pilot), McG and Peter Johnson are exec producers.

"Hellcats" meanwhile, centers on a college student (Aly Michalka) who's forced to join the cheerleading squad when her scholarship ends.

Warner Bros. TV and CBS TV Studios produce, along with "Smallville" star Tom Welling's production company. Kevin Murphy, Welling and Allan Arkush (who helmed the pilot) are exec producers.

"Life Unexpected" enters its second season this fall, while "One Tree Hill" will be back for its eighth season.

Glee Creator Says Lea Michele Is No Diva

While blogs buzz with reports that Glee star Lea Michele is letting her newfound fame go to her head, the show’s creator and director, Ryan Murphy, defends the singer, saying she’s a sweet person and a team player.

“[The rumors are] not accurate and not true at all,” Murphy told PEOPLE at the 69th Annual Peabody Awards in New York City on Monday, where the hit musical was honored for its achievement in diversity and content. “Lea is the sweetest, most professional girl. She’s incredibly kind and she’s always on time and she’s always with her cast hanging out. They’re all close.”

As for how to combat the reports — including stories about tension between Michele and her costars — Murphy says he’s offered her advice on how to ignore the gossip.

“I told Lea this would happen to her in July of last year. Just wait, people will start to write untruths,” says Murphy. “I told her, ‘Keep your chin up and it just happens. It’s happened to me and it’s happened to everyone. So don’t pay attention to it.’ But it’s definitely not true. Lea is great.” — Paul Chi

Christina Aguilera Clarifies Lady Gaga Comments In Out Magazine

'This is not the first time I have been unfairly pitted against another female artist,' she says in a letter to fans.

After taking several years off to become a mother, Christina Aguilera is in the midst of a publicity blitz in advance of the release of her upcoming album Bionic. But the thing about being a pop diva is that, as soon as you're gone for a minute, new stars come to take your place, be they Katy Perry, Ke$ha or, in Aguilera's case, Lady Gaga.

Though Gaga's little monsters have been hammering Aguilera for alleged copycat looks and sounds for the past month, Christina has mostly taken the high road, claiming there's room for everyone and recently saying that her work and track record speak for themselves.

But in the new issue of Out magazine, Aguilera takes a not-so-subtle dig at her purported rival, chuckling when the interviewer brings up Gaga. "Oh, the newcomer," Aguilera said. "I think she's really fun to look at." Though Gaga hasn't weighed in on the jabs, one of her most ardent supporters, blogger Perez Hilton, has been posting a series of scathing attacks on Aguilera over the comments to the gay magazine.

On Monday (May 17), Aguilera posted a letter to fans on her website attempting to defuse the situation. "I would like to take a moment to clarify something that has been brought to my attention this morning," she wrote. "It is very easy for comments to be taken out of context and create unnecessary drama — especially between us women. So I would like to tell you all directly so my words can not be misconstrued to sell someone else's story ... I have absolutely nothing against Lady Gaga or any other female artist in this business. I think she is great, and I appreciate any woman fearless enough to go against the norm. She has earned her success with hard work and a clear focus and I have nothing but respect for that. There is room for all of us on everyone's iPods."

Alluding to her alleged rivalry with fellow "Mickey Mouse Club" alum Britney Spears, Aguilera complained, "This is not the first time I have been unfairly pitted against another female artist, but it will be the last time I comment on the matter."

Bret Michaels To Star In VH1 Series 'Life As I Know It'

Show will give viewers inside look at rocker's home life.

We've seen Poison's Bret Michaels surrounded by a bevy of buxom, tattooed babes on "Rock of Love," watched him compete on "The Celebrity Apprentice" and waited anxiously to hear news of his recovery from a potentially fatal brain hemorrhage. But the one side of the former wild-child rocker we haven't really seen is his private one.

That will change on May 31 when VH1 premieres a new Michaels documentary series, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It," which a press announcement promises will give viewers "an insider's look at Bret's home life when he isn't touring, shooting, partying and rocking out. After the lights have dimmed on stage and the music stops for the night, Bret rolls off the tour bus right into the loving arms of his daughters Raine and Jorja, who affectionately refer to him as 'Poppa Rocka.' "

Due to Michaels' recent health crisis, the full 10-episode run of the half-hour show has been pushed to the fall, with no confirmed air date available at press time.

"After Bret's recent appendectomy and life-threatening brain hemorrhage, we're so happy that he is on the road to recovery and coming back to VH1," said Jeff Olde, executive vice president of original programming and production at the network. "Bret is family to us and has always been a huge hit on the network, headlining several series and specials that have garnered record-breaking ratings and made a strong connection with our audience. We have temporarily halted production on the series with Bret's health as our primary concern. Production will resume when it is cleared by his doctors. ... We'd like to celebrate Bret's recovery with this sneak peak special featuring the next chapter in Bret's story on VH1. It's a never-before-seen look into Bret's family life — the real center of his world from which he draws his unsinkable strength."

Michaels is recovering from the hemorrhage and is slated to give his first on-camera interview since the health scare on Wednesday, when he visits "The Oprah Winfrey Show." He is also expected to appear on the season finale of "The Celebrity Apprentice" on Sunday and to play his first concert since the incident on May 28.

The rocker has a new album, Custom Built, due out on June 8. It features his collaboration with Miley Cyrus on "Nothing to Lose," as well as a cover of Sublime's landmark hit "What I Got."

Demi Lovato "He's My First Serious Relationship"

Demi Lovato isn't holding back when it comes to publicly declaring her love for Joe Jonas, says Us Magazine.

"Every time that I've started to date someone, I've had private relationships, and there's just so much stress trying to hide it and keep it quiet, that if you just come out and say. 'Ok, we're together,' you don't have to worry about keeping it such a secret," The 17 year old singer-actress gushed to Us Saturday at a press junket in Burbank, CA.

Lovato, and Jonas, 20, met in 2007 on the set of the Disney channel movie Camp Rock and denied dating rumors until a radio interview by Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in March.

"It was not only scary coming out to the public eye, but also the people who we work with, the people who are going to be on tour with us all summer, who are obviously nervous - because you never know what can happen, But, I think ultimately, everyone who knows us knows that we'll always be best friends, no matter what happens."

The singer says she and Jonas began their relationship as best friends and ever since has always had an incredible bond and incredible friendship. "He knows me better than I know myself, and I know him better than he knows himself."

Demi who was last linked with Miley Cyrus' brother Trace Cyrus, also attributes the first stirrings of attraction for Jonas to fans. "There's been so many times where if it wasn't for our fans, I don't know if we'd be together, because they've opened up my eyes to seeing - because I thought I was the only one who had a crush, and then I would see Jemi videos online, and feel like, 'Oh my gosh! Maybe there is something.'"

Demi Thoughts About Touring & Joe Jonas

Demi Lovato talked with PEOPLE about touring with the Jonas Brothers and how it would be an amazing experience for the young singer. Especially if it means spending the whole summer with boyfriend Joe Jonas.

The 17 year old singer-actress told PEOPLE "I'm fortunate that I get to work with the person that I'm in the relationship with. Rather than being across the country and texting him, I can have him hold my hand when I'm tired."

Lovato and Jonas, 20, stepped out publicly as a couple for the first time in March at 2010 Kids Choice Awards. Met while filming Camp Rock. That pre-romance time, Lovato says, was pretty sweet, too.

"We weren't together at the time. So, it was just working with my best friend. It was awesome. And now that we're in a relationship, it's even better, because we may be tired, but we have each other to be there."
 
How psyched is Joe to have Demi on the tour? "It's going to be really exciting," Joe Jonas says. "Touring with Demi is going to be a lot of fun. It'll be different this time, but it will be fun."

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Soundtrack Preview

According to AOL Radio Blog,

This summer, the gang from 2008's 'Camp Rock' movie are back for a brand new Disney sequel -- and a brand new soundtrack. 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' first got underway back in September, and should be hitting the Disney Channel on Sept. 3.

As for the soundtrack, MTV reports that it should be hitting shelves on June 27. So far, it looks like the same group of usual suspects will be back on board to try to rekindle the studio magic they found with the 2008 'Camp Rock' soundtrack, which featured the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Renee Sandstrom, among others.

While you'll still have to wait a little bit longer to hear many of the songs on the 'Camp Rock 2' soundtrack, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato recently released a music video for their single 'It's On,' which will reportedly be featured on the new soundtrack. The Disney Channel has also revealed some of the behind the scenes action by interviewing some of the film's stars in a series titled 'Road to Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.'

Alyson Stoner, in a preview video on 'Camp Rock 2''s website, divides the entire recording process into four steps. "You get the song," she explains. "You practice, you show up at the studio, and you rock it out." She adds, "I have to admit, rocking it out is probably my favorite part."

Joe Jonas, who plays Shane in the new 2010 film, says "It's nice to be back," with the rest of the gang, while brother Kevin says "We can sing a song, and never see each other. And then we see it on the screen, and it's pretty cool."
